About Your Provider
Dr. Roger T. Moore is a board-certified dermatologist and founded DermacenterMD, now merged with Dermatology and Skin Surgery Center, in 2004. He is active in cosmetic and surgical dermatology, with specific areas of interest in skin cancer identification and treatment, Mohs Micrographic Surgery, general dermatology and cosmetic rejuvenation through minimally invasive treatments.
Frequently sharing his knowledge with the community, you may hear him on local radio shows and newspapers (including the South Bend Tribune). He’s also works diligently to elevate the knowledge of dermatology providers. Dr. Moore lectures physicians on many subjects in general and cosmetic dermatology. Because of this, he founded and hosted the Dermwise Dermatology Summit, a continuing education event for medical providers. He is the innovator of a leading-edge online dermatology educational system for nurse practitioners and Physician Assistants. The training has been used by providers at the Mayo Clinic, Dupage Medical Clinic, DOCS Dermatology and dermatology practices across the U.S.
Dr. Moore lectures as far away as Texas for the American Cancer Society and in his office, where he routinely teaches physicians-in-training from Notre Dame and Indiana University Medical School. He has also contributed to research in cosmetic procedures, including Botulinum Toxin (Botox). He maintains the highest level of continuing education, including courses from international cosmetic and surgical dermatology leaders. He has even undertaken advanced training in Botox from the innovator of Botox, Dr. Allister Carruthers, as well as training in advanced usage of cosmetic fillers from the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, and completed a course at the Ageless Aesthetic Institute, to mention a few. Much of his training is in advanced courses only offered to dermatologists. He takes his patients' trust in him as their provider very seriously.
