Kybella

Reduce 'double chin' and contour along the jawline with the only FDA-approved injectable, designed to permanently diminish resistant fat beneath the chin.

What is it?

Kybella® is a non-surgical treatment that destroys fat cells under the chin to improve our patients' profiles. The treatment uses an injectable deoxycholic acid, a naturally occurring secondary bile acid created as a metabolic byproduct of intestinal bacteria. While this may sound “weird,” it’s important to note that bile acids emulsify and break down fat cells.

What to expect

Each treatment takes anywhere from 15 to 20 minutes and is injected into the chin. You can expect swelling in the area for up to a week after treatment. Most patients require a series of treatments spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart. The effective results, you’ll be happy to know, are permanent.

Please note that this treatment is not available in all offices.
