Psoriasis Treatment
Psoriasis is a chronic autoimmune disease characterized by patches of red, pink or purple skin and dry, itchy skin. We treat psoriasis across all skin types and severities.

Rosacea is common skin condition that causes redness and bumps, typically on the face. While rosacea has no cure, we can help control flare ups and treat your discomfort.
Seborrheic Dermatitis
Seborrheic dermatitis causes scaly patches of inflamed skin, most typically seen on the scalp. While there isn't a cure, we offer treatment to lessen and/or clear your rash.
Skin Cancer Screenings
Skin cancer is the most common cancer in the U.S. Regular screenings with your dermatologist find cancer earlier, minimizing risk of spread. Schedule your annual exam now!
Squamous Cell Carcinoma
A common skin cancer that begins when UV light from the sun damages the skin and causes a cancerous tumor. We test all suspicious spots and offer the latest treatments.
Wart Treatment
Common warts, flat warts and plantar warts are caused by strains of the human papillomavirus (HPV) and appear on hands, face, feet or genitals. Schedule now to get treatment.
About Your Provider
Matthew received a Bachelors of Science in Clinical Laboratory Science from Southern Adventist University in Tennessee in 2008. After several years of hospital work, he went on to Union College in Lincoln, Nebraska to receive a Masters of Physician Assistant Studies, graduating in 2013. Prior to joining the Dermatology & Skin Surgery Center, he spent four years doing family practice, urgent care, general and orthopedic surgery on the island of Guam and the islands of Micronesia. He continues to return annually to the islands to provide care to the local people.

Since joining the practice in 2017, Matthew continues working under the supervision of Dr. Donn LaTour and the other physicians at the Dermatology & Skin Surgery Center, specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of acne, atopic dermatitis, eczema, psoriasis, skin cancer, warts, seborrheic dermatitis, dandruff and rashes.

Outside of work, Matthew has a wide range of interests that mainly involve outdoor activities. After living in Micronesia, he became an avid technical and recreational scuba diver. He also enjoys backpacking, kayaking, canoeing, cycling, beekeeping, welding, woodworking and gardening.
