What to expect
During your consultation, Dr. Sumita Saha will evaluate your symptoms, breast size, and overall health to determine if you’re a good candidate for the procedure. Surgery is performed under general anesthesia and typically takes 2–4 hours. Incisions are carefully placed—often around the areola and vertically down to the breast crease—to allow for tissue removal and reshaping.
Post-operative swelling, soreness, and bruising are common for the first one to two weeks. Most patients in return to work or daily routines within 10–14 days, avoiding strenuous activity for four to six weeks. You'll be fitted with a surgical bra to support healing, and follow-up visits ensure your recovery stays on track.
