About Your Provider
Emily Castillo, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant specializing in medical and surgical dermatology at Dermatology and Skin Surgery Center in Jackson, Michigan. She provides comprehensive dermatologic care for a wide range of skin conditions, including acne, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, rashes, skin cancer, and precancerous lesions, as well as other common and complex skin concerns. Emily is dedicated to delivering patient-centered, evidence-based dermatology care and helping patients achieve and maintain healthy, confident skin. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience, graduating with honors from Michigan State University, and went on to receive her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Michigan–Flint. During her graduate training, she was inducted into the Pi Alpha National Physician Assistant Honor Society and awarded the PA Student Excellence Scholarship.
Emily developed her passion for dermatology prior to PA school while working in a dermatology practice and further advanced her expertise through a dedicated dermatology elective clinical rotation. She has a strong foundation in the diagnosis and management of a wide range of skin diseases and dermatologic conditions and enjoys both the medical and surgical aspects of patient care. She values building long-term relationships with her patients and partnering with them to support lifelong skin health.
Outside of work, Emily enjoys exercising, traveling, and spending time with her friends and family.
